A Hike to the Dian Fossey Tomb costs $75 per person per hike the permit can be bought at the offices in Kigali or on arrival at Volcanoes National Park headquarters. Travelling in high season (June to September), it’s advised to book your permit three months in advance. However, the Dian Fossey hike is not as popular, and it doesn’t have very high demand like the gorilla trekking. The permit includes a professional guide.

By Road; From Kigali Airport on arrival the park is just 2-3 hours’ drive.
