Serengeti Flying Safaris

Serengeti Flying Safaris offers a unique and exhilarating way to experience the vast plains and incredible wildlife of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Instead of traditional land-based safaris, where visitors traverse the terrain in vehicles, flying safaris utilize small aircraft to provide an aerial perspective of the landscape and its inhabitants. Serengeti Flying Safaris offer a convenient and efficient way to explore the vastness of the Serengeti while maximizing time spent observing wildlife and minimizing travel time between locations. They’re particularly popular among travelers seeking a luxury safari experience with a touch of adventure.

Serengeti Flying Safaris offers some of the best wildlife viewing experiences;

Aerial Exploration: Once aboard the small aircraft, passengers embark on a scenic flight over the Serengeti. This offers a bird’s-eye view of the sprawling savannah, winding rivers, and diverse ecosystems below. Passengers often have the opportunity to spot wildlife from above, including herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even predators such as lions and cheetahs.

Landing in the Serengeti: The flight culminates with a landing at a remote airstrip within the Serengeti National Park. From here, travelers are typically transferred to their accommodation, which may range from luxury tented camps to safari lodges nestled within the wilderness.

Game Drives and Excursions: Once settled in, guests have the opportunity to embark on game drives led by experienced guides. These drives offer close encounters with the Serengeti’s iconic wildlife, including the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. Guided walks and cultural visits to nearby Maasai communities may also be included in the itinerary.
