Best Time to Visit Uganda
Uganda’s climate is pleasant all year, but the best times for safaris and trekking are during the dry seasons from June to September and December to February. These months have less rain, easier hiking conditions, and great wildlife viewing opportunities.
The wet seasons March to May and October to November bring lush green scenery and fewer visitors, making them perfect for photographers and travelers seeking a quieter experience. Rain showers are usually short and followed by sunshine.

Eco Adventure Safaris operates tours year-round, ensuring that even during the rainy months, logistics are smooth and itineraries flexible.
Gorilla Trekking with Eco Adventure Safaris
For many travelers, gorilla trekking is the main reason to visit Uganda. Eco Adventure Safaris arranges both standard gorilla treks and the Gorilla Habituation Experience.
- Standard Gorilla Trekking Permit: USD 800 per person for one hour with a habituated gorilla family.
- Gorilla Habituation Experience: USD 1,500 per person for four hours with a semi-habituated group and researchers.
Our team handles everything from securing permits, arranging transport and accommodation, to preparing you for the trek. Whether you prefer the easier Buhoma and Rushaga trails or the more challenging Ruhija and Nkuringo routes, we ensure you have the most rewarding experience.
We also offer combined packages that include golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga and chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, making your primate adventure complete.
