Mountain Bisoke is located in Volcanoes National Park on the border of Rwanda and DR Congo; it rises at an elevation of 3,711 meters above sea level. The hike up Mount Bisoke Volcano to its highest point where you will have a great view of the magnificent Crater Lake takes approximately 4 hours best to start the hike in the morning.

Detailed Itinerary for Hiking Mount Bisoke Volcano Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Kinigi for overnight
The driver will pick you from the hotel or Airport in Kigali and you will start your drive to Kinigi a town close to Mount Bisoke Volcano arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight, you will have a stop visit at the Genocide Museum and Kigali city tour and an en-route lunch, then after drive towards Volcanoes National Park, the journey takes you through beautiful landscapes of the mountainous side of Rwanda.
Accommodation: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (Luxury), Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (Mid-range) or the Garden Place Hotel (Budget)
Meals: Full Board.
Day 2: Hiking Mount Bisoke Volcano, descend and transfer back to Kigali to end the 2 Days Mount Bisoke Volcano Hike.
You will wake up early morning have breakfast at the Lodge and drive to the headquarters at Kinigi offices by 7:30am for briefing and you will be given well knowledgeable guides for your hike after you will set off for the hike, the hike will take you around 4-5 hours to reach the summit of Mount Bisoke Volcano and back, you will have various resting sessions. After sometime of sightseeing the Crater Lake at the top of the Bisoke volcano you will descend back to the starting point and drive to the lodge for Lunch after you will transfer back to Kigali to end your 2 Days mount Bisoke Volcano Hike.
