Bandingilo National Park is located in the Equatorial region of South Sudan near the White Nile River. The park covers over 10,000 km in size home to various wildlife and vegetation species. Visiting this park will give you an opportunity to shoot the Earth’s second-largest annual animal migration after the Great migration involving multiple species of antelope including reedbuck, tiang, and white-eared kob. Nimule National Park
Nimule National Park is located in the far south of South Sudan on the border with Uganda. The park is crossed by the White Nile which flows from Uganda. It is also home to a variety of vegetation ranging from savanna woodland of Acacia, Riverine woodland found along permanent and seasonal watercourses.
What to see to Nimule National Park
Nimule National Park is the smallest but arguably most beautiful national park in South Sudan. Animals to film in the park include hippo, Uganda kob, elephants and buffalo, Rhinos, wild pigs, giraffes, gazelles, monkeys, lions, tigers, African dog, foxes, wild cats, ostrich and others inhabit the reserve. Primates include Olive Baboons, Vervet monkeys and Chimpanzees which are best seen during the wet season. The park is one of the best places to film Hippos which are found on the Nile River. It is also home to Fula waterfalls best for rapids experience in South Sudan.
Boma National Park
Boma National Park is located in the Eastern part of South Sudan close to the Ethiopian border. The park was established in 1977 and covers an area of 22,800 km, it is considered as one of the parks with the largest concentration of wildlife in South Sudan making it one of the best parks to see wildlife in South Sudan. It is also home to variety of vegetation species ranging from grasslands and floodplains to open savannah plains offering great views for landscape experince.
Wildlife viewing in Boma National Park is the major things to see in this park. The park is home to various animal species which include white-eared kob which is a prominent animal and commonly sighted in this park in South Sudan, tiang and Mongalla gazelle. Other large mammals to see in Boma National Park include buffalo, elephant, African leopard, Nubian giraffe, oryx, hartebeest, Northeast African cheetah, common eland, Lelwel hartebeest, maneless zebra, waterbuck, Grant’s gazelle, Lesser kudu, bongo, Giant eland, and Nile lechwe.
